Koto Player

from $30.00

The Koto is a half tube zither instrument with deep roots in Japan. It even has its own genre of music composition. Here a player leans in for deep bend to note, the length of the instruments can sometimes make for some dramatic movements, and I wanted to capture that flow, similar to the sound of the instrument.

Original - Watercolor and ink on paper 18 x 12. Available. (26x20 in frame)

Print - Archival ink on archival watercolor paper. Sizes vary.
